We at HGW will always treat your personal and commercial data with the highest standard of security and confidentiality. HGW use a fully hosted online computer system. This means that our servers are not on site at our offices and are dealt with by an IT specialist company who also provide our cyber security and virus protection. This means that the personal information that we hold about you on our computer systems is accessible to our IT hosted provider company. Our IT hosted provider is also bound by the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 and will not use or share your data without consent or another lawful basis for doing so.
The personal information that we hold about you will be held on our computer systems and also in a physical file. Depending on the type of work that we are carrying out for you, we are required to store your data and physical file for many years after your matter has been completed. These physical files are stored off site with a professional, secure, storage company. The physical files are destroyed when the appropriate amount of time has lapsed. At this time, any personal information that is stored on our computer system will remain unless you specifically request us to remove it.
