This weekend, five teams of volunteers from Harold G Walker Solicitors came together to take part in a community litter pick across Wimborne Minster. The initiative focused on cleaning streets, parks, and public spaces to help make the town cleaner, greener, and more welcoming for residents and visitors alike. 🌿♻️
The volunteers covered key areas including the Town Centre, The Square, High Street, Minster Green, Crown Mead, Walford Mill, Leigh Road, St Johns Hill, and Wimborne Recreation Ground. The teams collected bags full of litter, demonstrating their commitment to improving the local environment.
Children also took part as part of the Harold G Walker team, helping the next generation understand the importance of caring for the environment and the community.
The clean-up was supported by Dorset Council and Wimborne War on Waste, who provided guidance and encouragement throughout the initiative. The community welcomed the volunteers, many stopping to thank them for their efforts, and the sunny weather made the morning even more enjoyable.
After completing the litter pick, the teams were rewarded with a delicious lunch, celebrating the hard work and achievements of all volunteers.
Harold G Walker Solicitors has been serving the Wimborne community for over 45 years, and supporting local initiatives like this litter pick reflects our ongoing commitment to helping the town remain clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.
