Local Legal Firm Supports Broadstone Family Fun Day 2017
The Broadstone team turned out in force to support this year’s Broadstone Family Fun day and raise funds for Julia’s House Children’s Hospice. This was the second consecutive year the firm has supported the event, which was well attended by the local community. The firm welcomed visitors with a ‘Hook the Duck’ contest for the kids and a Treasure Hunt competition for the adults to raise money for the Broadstone based charity. Lucy Penman was the closest to find the hidden treasure on the Broadstone map and become the lucky winner, receiving a National Trust membership for all her family to enjoy.
Simon Nethercott, Partner at Harold G Walker Solicitors commented; “This is our second year supporting the Broadstone Family Fun Day and its great to see so many local people come out and enjoy what it has to offer. Our presence this year has been made even more worthwhile by raising money to support Julia’s House Children’s Hospice, which is an amazing charity in the heart of the Broadstone community.”
The Broadstone Family Fun Day hosted a variety of events including a dog show, donkey rides and classic car competition. Local community groups came together to support the event making it a fun-filled day for all the family.
