Managing Partner, Nicola Lowe judges Bournemouth School for Girls Debating Competition 2017
Bournemouth School for Girls students were on top form at the final of this years Debating Competition, where Managing Partner Nicola Lowe attended to assist the judging panel. Several teams from year 9 and 10 had fought their way through three qualifying rounds to reach the final where they debated the thought-provoking subject of the generation gap.
“Congratulations to all the student involved, it was a lively discussion and all the students showed great promise. However the quality of their arguments and the composure with which they handled the opposition’s challenges ensured that the team pro the generation gap were named the winners,” comments Nicola Lowe, Managing Partner. “This is an opportunity for young people to enhance their skills and gain the self-confidence to speak publicly and argue persuasively- skills that hold lifetime significance and confer immeasurable practical value. As a community legal specialist, we are proud to support events such as this in our local area.”
