Flying High in Support of Royal Bournemouth Hospital Charity
Harold G Walker’s Wills and Probate Lawyer, Gaynor Cooke took to the skies in a sponsored Wing Walk to support Royal Bournemouth Hospital, raising funds for the Orchard Garden Project. A gloriously sunny and windy morning at Compton Abbas Airfield, became the setting for the legal expert to make her debut flight. Her extreme efforts were not unnoticed by the firm who donated an additional £500 to the cause.
“This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and although I was slightly apprehensive at first, once we got in the air it was an incredible feeling – like being a bird,” comments Gaynor Cooke. “It was a truly unforgettable experience. And I am delighted that my firm supported me by contributing to the project.”

The money raised from the wing walk will go towards the build of the Orchard Garden. An outside space creating an environment of tranquillity for patients receiving treatment and in-between appointments. The project aims to provide a therapeutic setting for patients and visitors of the hospital at what can be a scary and difficult time.
Royal Bournemouth Hospital Charity Events organiser Barry Wilson was delighted to receive the donation from the HGW Solicitor, “This is a fantastic achievement for Gaynor and we very much appreciate her support as well as Harold G Walker’s generous donation which edges the charity even closer to our target.”
