Andrew Dao is a Commercial and Dispute Resolution Solicitor at HGW Solicitors, having joined the firm in 2025. He is based in the firm’s Christchurch office and works closely with clients across a range of commercial and dispute resolution matters.
Andrew advises on all aspects of commercial property, including transactional matters and the drafting and negotiation of various commercial agreements relating to land and property. He takes a practical and commercially aware approach, supporting clients through each stage of the process to ensure matters are handled efficiently and clearly.
In addition, Andrew works within the dispute resolution team, advising on civil and commercial disputes. He provides strategic, solution focused advice tailored to each client’s objectives, with a strong emphasis on achieving effective and proportionate outcomes.
Andrew joined HGW Solicitors as part of the firm’s continued growth, strengthening the team’s ability to deliver high quality, commercially focused legal advice to clients.
