Family Lawyer Cath Porter is a Partner of the firm and Head of our Family team. Responsible for the management and development of the department.
Cath joined the Family team of Harold G Walker in 2013 after studying her Legal Executive course whilst employed as Legal Secretary. After qualifying in 2009 Cath was accepted as a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2011. Due to her tenacity and significant experience, Cath was promoted to Head of the Family Department in 2014.

Cath is committed to making sure all her clients resolve their matter as swiftly and amicably as possible only involving the Court process as a last resort. She has a friendly approach, not only to her clients, but to all her work colleagues and would prefer to pick up the telephone to discuss matters sensibly than get involved in writing unnecessary and inflammatory letters.
