You may be purchasing a new-build freehold property or you could be dealing with a listed building, which in itself may have additional unknown complexities.
Because of these variations, a reliable estimate for your conveyancing fees will be confirmed once details of your intended transaction have been received. Fees for conveyancing are detailed below, however, in the event of your transaction having any unexpected complications, you will be informed immediately. Your Lawyer/Solicitor will fully discuss the potential consequences with you before any additional charges are incurred.

Purchase Fees
Harold G Walker’s purchase fees can range from a starting price of £1,600 plus £320 VAT (total £1,920) up to £5,000 plus £1,000 VAT (£6,000), for more complicated or high-value transactions. Since these figures vary so greatly, an individual cost estimate will be provided to you before any work is undertaken on your behalf.

The fee scale above includes the cost of the legal work involved in bringing your purchase to a conclusion. Harold G Walker does not charge an extra fee for acting with a mortgage company should you require a mortgage.
There are always other charges and disbursements involved with conveyancing, such as search fees and Land Registry fees. Please see listed below, the anticipated charges to help you get a better picture of the total cost of your conveyancing. Please note that your stamp duty will need to be calculated separately and is based on your individual circumstances. Additional information will be required from you in order to calculate this. Harold G Walker’s conveyancing fees for a sale can range from a starting price of £1,400 plus £280 VAT (total £1,680) up to £4,000 plus £800 VAT (total £4,800), for more complicated or high-value transactions. Since these figures vary so greatly, an individual cost estimate will be provided to you before any work is undertaken on your behalf.

Harold G Walker’s conveyancing fees for a remortgage are from £700 plus £140 VAT (£840). For more complicated transactions, this fee may be higher, however, you will always be given an individual cost estimate before any work is undertaken on your behalf.
